SO Behind!

I am so behind on listening to the Audio's on my list! I recently subscribed to SimplyAudiobooks and Audible so I am going to get further behind! I am going to add them to my Paperback Swap shelf and Frugal Reader to get them to people who can listen to them.

So right now I am listening to Sweet Revenge by Diane Mott Davidson...Review to come when I am done! I am on Disc 7 of 10.

Before that was:

7th Heaven by James Patterson

I so love the characters and the story of these books! I keep getting worried that they are going to loose main characters again though so it's sometimes hard to read as you never know what is going to happen!

Devil Bones by Kathy Reichs

This is another great series! So different from the series (Bones) but I like both of them! This one needed more Booth in it :) Other than that I really liked it.

Blood Dream by Kay Hooper<--------- NEW AUTHOR!

I got this one from the library. I chose it because it was first in a series. What a good choice! It's about people with paranormal abilities that work for a organization (FBI like) and track other people (with abilities) that are murderers. Very good! I can't wait until the next one.

Ok I am sumwhat up to date.

Happy Holiday everyone!

Bare Bones by Kathy Reichs

"As I was packaging what remained of the dead baby, the man I would kill was burning pavement north toward Charlotte."

And off we go for a great Tempe Brennan adventure! I loved Booth and Brennan together. I just wish the TV series would catch up!

Audiobook Reviews

Lion's Game by Nelson Demille

Ok this is the 2nd book in the series that they author did not plan to write. He got such a response to Plum Island that he had to keep writing about the character John Corey. I am so glad he did! This time John is on the Anti-Terrorist Task Force going after a terrorist who has the nickname of "the lion". Trust me a real lion is a pussy cat compaired to this guy! John also meets Ms. Kate Mayfield and let me tell you she gives him a run for his money! This book is great! I can't wait to get the next one!

The Cat Who Saw Red by Lilian Jackson Braun

What can I say....another entertaining book with Qwill and the cats...A little scare about them in this one!
I have read the later books with Qwill in Moose County (500 miles from anywhere) and I am going to miss some of these characters!

Digital Fortress by Dan Brown

BORING! I really have enjoyed his other books Angels and Demons, Da Vinci Code and Deception Point (That's how I rate them in order too) BUT this one was aweful! I was just hoping it would end!! Not one I would recommend.

The Secret of Ararat (Babylon Rising #2) by Tim Lahaye

I really enjoyed this second book in the series. The characters are very entertaining and the insite into biblical stories is interesting. I can't wait for the next one! (I have it reseerved at the library)

Audiobook Reviews

Deception Point by Dan Brown

Great Book! This one is in a different subject than Da Vinci and Angels and Demons but it was still entertaining and quite interesting! This one deals with NASA and political intrigue. You still have no idea who is good and who is trying to kill you.

Jinxed by Carol Higgins Clark

This one was a fun one to listen to. Nothing spectacular. It had alot of loose ends that all got tied up at the end...perfect ending.

Babylon Rising by Tim Lahaye

I really enjoyed this book. Interesting subject and great characters. I have the next one waiting for me at the library.
